DEPARTMENT OF NURSING
The purpose of the Nursing Department of Webster University is to provide registered nurses with opportunities for baccalaureate degree completion and graduate study in a liberal arts setting.
Health is seen as a fluctuating state of well being. Nursing is a process directed towards facilitating the health of individuals, families, groups, and communities through health education and health promotion. The profession of nursing utilizes specific science, theory, and research in the development and implementation of therapeutic nursing interventions.
Webster University’s Nursing programs are flexible and scheduled in an eight-week format with convenient evening classes geared toward working adults.
Nursing programs feature low student-to-faculty ratios and are accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, 61 Broadway, New York, New York, 10006, 212-363-5555.
