St. Louis Area Jobs with Justice (JwJ) is an action-oriented coalition of local unions, community, faith-based and student groups committed to working together on issues of workers' rights and economic justice.

We are seeking a committed, energetic activist to work as in intern focusing primarily on communications for social action. Interns will produce internal communications -to educate and mobilize area activists on St. Louis' most current and critical campaigns. This will include creating strategies for most effectively targeting the distributions of these communications, including database management. You will also work on external communications, including both community-based and mass media. The Communications Intern will work closely with JwJ staff, and the leaders of JwJ member organizations. Being an intern with JwJ is hard work. However, you can expect to learn from St. Louis' most skilled and inspiring activists, and build relationships with an incredible range of grassroots organizations.

JwJ internships are currently unpaid. Start and end times are flexible. We will be accepting applications ongoing. College credit maybe arranged. Jobs with Justice is an affirmative action, equal opportunity organization. Women and people of color are encouraged to apply.
