St. Louis Area Jobs with Justice (JwJ) is an action-oriented coalition of local unions, community, faith-based and student groups committed to working together on issues of workers' rights and economic justice.
We are seeking a committed, energetic activist to work as an intern focusing primarily on building the organizing base and mobilization capacity of Jobs with Justice. You will work closely with JwJ's Mobilization Committee build the base of grassroots activists committed to "Be There" five times a year for someone else's fight. You will also help organize these activists into a powerful network that can move the power of the people behind important community struggles, at their most critical moments.
Being an intern with JwJ is hard work. However, you can expect to learn from St. Louis' most skilled and inspiring activists, and build relationships with an incredible range of grassroots organizations.
JwJ internships are currently unpaid. College credit may be arranged. Start and end times are flexible. We will be accepting applications ongoing. Jobs with Justice is an affirmative action, equal opportunity organization. Women and people of color are encouraged to apply.
