SBT Makes Appointments

The School of Business and Technology has appointed Daniel Viele as chair of the Business Department and Brad Scott as director of the Online MBA program. Both appointments took effect June 1, 2002.

DanVieleViele is an associate professor of accounting in the School of Business and Technology, where he has taught since 1998. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and his master's degree from Colorado State University. He recently co-authored the text, “Accounting: What the Numbers Mean” which has been adopted by more than 100 colleges and universities nationwide.

BradScottScott is an assistant professor of finance in the School of Business & Technology, where he has taught since 1998. He received his bachelor's degree from Westminster College and his M.B.A and Ph.D. from Saint Louis University. Scott teaches finance courses online, as well as at Webster's main campus. He is a member of the Financial Management Association and remains active in his field.

In addition, Megan Taylor, who was formerly an associate within the school, has been promoted to coordinator. Taylor recently graduated from the School of Business & Technology with an M.A. in Management and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development.
