Sally 'Krissi' Dean, a graduating marketing senior, received the Outstanding Undergraduate Marketing Student from Webster University for 2005/2006 at the 45th Annual Student Marketing Conference.

Sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the American Marketing Association, this award was given to her for her superior academic achievements in the marketing program at Webster University and marketing internship activities.

Associate Professor of Marketing Dr. David J. Brennan, Adjunct Professor of Marketing Dr. Donna Cartwright and Adjunct Professor of Marketing Pat Walsh and several Webster University marketing major seniors attended the conference held in St. Louis.

The theme of the conference was "Marketing for Success" and featured presentations by several marketing professionals. These professionals emphasized the knowledge and skills that graduating marketing students would need to be successful in career positions in the marketing field.

A Webster student from the St. Louis campus, she will be completing her B.A. in Marketing and graduating this May. While taking classes full-time she undertook an internship with the Ronald McDonald House organization and is currently taking a marketing/public relations internship with St. John's Mercy Hospital. Currently, she is a student in the joint B.A./M.A. program and is continuing her studies at Webster pursuing a master's degree in marketing.

"Krissi Dean is an outstanding academic and marketing student.   We all congratulate Krissi and wish her all the best in her marketing career," said Bejamin Ola. Akande, Dean of the School of Business and Technology.
