Audio Production Program

Working on-line with a group seeking to establish international standards for Audio Education,
Gary was invited by the Chair of the Education Committee to be a panelist at this convention.
The group's intent is to have the AES adopt the standards which will benefit students, employers

and educators. Gary also attended the October 2006 Convention to give an updated report.

The M79 will be spruced up a bit by the students before taking
its place in Control Room A. Matt was instrumental in securing the donation.

Noted recording engineer and producer, Elliot Scheiner (standing) presented a day long
seminar about mxing for surround sound. Later that evening, Mr. Scheiner made a second presentation
in Moore Auditorium. Both events were sponsored by the Student Chapter of the Audio Engineering Society.

Production and the faculty supervisor for the Student Chapter.

 Audio Industry legend, Rupert Neve, signs the face plate of a Neve Kelso in

Engineering Society planned and hosted the event.
