Scraping the funds together to send a child to college is never an easy task — one made especially difficult in these trying economic times.

Let us try and help.

Webster University is now offering an Alumni Legacy Scholarship available to the dependents of our alumni.

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship offers dependents of Webster alumni a guaranteed $6,000 annual scholarship for full-time freshmen attending the St. Louis home campus, beginning in August 2009. Basically, it’s a 30 percent savings from Webster’s full tuition rate.

Legacies who meet the admission requirements will be eligible to receive the scholarship each year for a total of four years. But this doesn’t mean this is all the aid you can receive. Alumni dependents also will be able to apply for additional scholarships or financial aid.
