  Full-Time Faculty Personnel News
You may have discovered during recent months that phone calls and email messages to some of the School of Communications full-time faculty may have gone unanswered. Here is some personnel news that may account for that.

Associate Professor Joe Schuster returned from his sabbatical leave during the fall semester to resume his job as chair of the Department of Communications & Journalism. During his absence last fall, Associate Professor Eileen Solomon served as acting department chair.

Professor Bill Barrett, chair of the Department of Electronic & Photographic Media, is on sabbatical leave this spring semester. During his absence, Professor Susan Stang is filling in as department chair.

Assistant Professor Nancy Wilson has returned from a medical related absence during the first few weeks of the spring semester.

Assistant Professor Jill Silverstein resigned her faculty position in the Interactive Media program at the conclusion of the fall semester to pursue an opportunity in private business. A search committee has been formed to review applications and select a recommended candidate to fill the position. In the interim, Adjunct Instructor Bryan Propst is serving as program facilitator for the Interactive Media program. The Academic Vacancy Announcement for the position can be viewed by clicking the link below.
