Recent SOC Student Accomplishments

Tyann Cherry, a senior Photography major, placed as a finalist in the U.S. Best of College Photography Annual for 2004. She was selected from among 31,000 entries.

Former film student and alumnae Ann Frivogel earned her “camera operator” union card after completing a union feature film.

Audio student Matt Hartman received credit for mixing one song on Will Soll’s debut album, “It Ain’t Love.”

Video major and alumnus Alex Vietmier has been hired to work in the Studio Control Room for MTV.

Senior Film Production major Michael Witman attended the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Additionally, his film entitled, “Defining Reason,” was chosen for Special Mention honors at the Philadelphia Short Film Festival.
