The Cecille R. Hunt Gallery was established in 1983 as a
non-commercial alternative venue. The intent was to enhance
the life-long learning of the St. Louis art community. The Hunt Gallery presents art by local, national and international artists.
In addition to exhibitions, the gallery hosts visiting artists and scholarly lectures and seminars relating to each exhibition.
The Art Department utilizes Webster University’s European resources to present many of the international exhibitions that feature works by prominent and emerging European artists.
