BFA Performances

Webster University Dance Ensemble (WUDE)

The Webster University Dance Ensemble is the performance company for the Department of Dance.  Auditions are held each Fall with several guest artists invited to choreograph. The Ensemble produces a major concert each March in the Loretto-Hilton Center’s Virginia Browning Mainstage Theatre.  See Calendar for performance dates.

The Lecture Demonstration Touring Group is open to all.  These are performances and workshops conducted for area schools throughout the year.  Click here for Outreach Opportunities.

The Webster University Dance Ensemble participates annually in the Regional American College Dance Festival.   Webster’s choreography is regularly selected for the event’s galas, an acknowledgment of the outstanding training one receives at Webster University.  In addition to regular performance opportunities in the Department, dance majors are encouraged to explore performance, choreographic and teaching opportunities in the community.
