Jane Lucas, Ed.S., has been an educator since 1994, having taught first through twelfth grades in both Missouri and Massachusetts.  She currently works as a school psychologist for Special School District of Saint Louis County and is an adjunct professor in the Applied Educational Psychology graduate program.  She has presented at both national and international conferences and has co-authored several articles.   Her research interests include parent-teacher collaboration, social justice, and trauma-informed schools.  Courses she teaches include Psychoeducational Assessment, Resilience and Self-Concept, Case Studies of Exceptional Children, Intro to School Psychology, and several classes about gifted education.
