Transcripts issued to students are not considered official
transcripts for admission purposes. Official transcripts should be delivered
to the local Webster campus first, who will then forward the transcript to the
main campus.
Degree-seeking students who do not have their transcripts on file by the conclusion
of the first term will not be allowed to enroll for additional classes.
On receipt of the official transcript from the institution awarding the baccalaureate degree, the student will receive full acceptance to the graduate program.
Additional information can be obtained from the graduate
catalog. Any information contained in the online graduate catalog will
take precedence over the content of this web page. You may pick
up a catalog from your local campus or view it online at 2007
- 2008 Graduate Catalog.

It is recommended that you meet with an Academic Advisor before registering for classes. The advisor can discuss the need for taking the prerequisites for the MBA program, career goals, and give you a detailed degree plan to follow for the completion of the program.
BUSN 5000 (Business), BUSN 5600 (Accounting Theory and Practice) or BUSN 5620 (Current Economic Analysis) are prerequisites for the MBA program and if you received your undergraduate degree more than 5 years ago you may need to take these courses or show proficiency by taking a waiver exam. These exams are free and last approximately 45 minutes each and can only be taken by appointment. You must make 70% to pass. Contact an advisor at 479-571-1511 to schedule an appointment. If you received your undergraduate degree within the past 5 years and received and A or B in accounting or economics, these prerequisites may be waived.
Transfer of Credit: A maximum of 12 credit hours of graduate credit from other regionally accredited graduate institutions or professional military education may be transferred into a student's master of arts degree program, subject to evaluation and approval. A maximum of 9 credit hours of graduate institutions or professional military education may be transferred into a student's master of business administration graduate-degree program, subject to evaluation and approval.
