Webster University Cooperative Degree Program:
U.S. Army Field Artillery School
Captains Career Course
(FACCC)
This advising paper describes the Cooperative Masters Degree Program between the United States Army Field Artillery Captains Career Course (FACCC) and Webster University. This cooperative degree masters degree program provides an opportunity for qualified FACCC resident graduates to complete the following Webster University master degrees:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Master of Arts in Human Resources Development (HRDV)
Master of Arts in Management and Leadership (MGTL)
FACCC students participating in this program are
eligible to receive 9-15
semester hours of graduate transfer credit depending on the program selected
from Webster University, and can attend classes at Webster in-residence or
online.
Program Development
The Field Artillery Captains Career Course and Webster University
Cooperative Masters Degree Program was developed in accordance with the American
Council of Education's Joint Statement on the Transfer and Award of Credit,
which contains guidelines approved by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and
Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
Webster University Graduate Credit Awarded
Transfer credit is awarded to FACCC graduates who completed the FACCC
resident course. FACCC graduates must submit an official copy of the Academic
Evaluation Report (DD Form 1059) to Webster University that reflects
"Achieved Course Standards" or "Exceeded Course Standards"
in the Performance Summary block in order to receive credit. Qualified students
enrolled in the FACCC/Webster Cooperative Master Degree Program are awarded 9-15
semester hours of graduate credit toward the appropriate Webster University
masters degree programs as shown in charts below:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration degree requires satisfactory completion of 27 credit hours of the MBA curriculum and 9 credit hours of graduate electives for a total of 36 credit hours. Qualified FACCC graduates enrolled in the MBA are awarded 9 semester hours transfer credit, which is applied as a 3 semester hour required core course and 6 semester hours of elective courses in the MBA program. Satisfactory completion of the MBA program requires the following Webster University courses.

Note: Program prerequisites are to be completed before beginning
coursework for the MBA for those students who have not completed prerequisite
courses (or an appropriate equivalent) within five years of entering the program
and having earned a grade of B or better. If the appropriate prerequisites
course content was completed more than five years prior to entering the program,
the department will allow a waiver if the student demonstrates command of the
content area by successfully completing a waiver examination. Prerequisite
courses may not count as electives in the 36-credit-hour MBA. An MBA Academic Advisor must be consulted to determine prerequisites that
will be required.
Master of Arts in Human Resources Development (HRDV)
The Master of Arts in Human Resources Development degree requires satisfactory completion of 24 credit hours of the HRDV curriculum and 12 credit hours of graduate electives for a total of 36 credit hours. Qualified FACCC graduates enrolled in the Master of Human Resources Development are awarded 12 semester hours of transfer credit, which is applied as 3 semester hours of core substitute and 9 hours of elective credits. Satisfactory completion of the HRDV program requires the following Webster University courses:

Admission to FACCC Cooperative Masters Degree Program
Requirements for admission to the FACCC/Webster Cooperative Masters Degree Program are as follows:
This agreement between the U. S. Army Field Artillery School and Webster University applies to all officers completing the FACCC. All participants in the program must submit an Academic Evaluation Report (DA Form 1059) that reflects completion of FACCC.
Completion of a bachelors degree from a regionally-accredited college or university, and submission of an official transcript reflecting conferral of degree.
Completion and submission of the Webster University graduate school application form with nonrefundable application fee.
Participants in this program are not required to complete separate graduate entrance examinations such as Graduate Record Exam (GRE), Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Miller’s Analogy Test (MAT). Letters of recommendation will not be required.
