PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
The Adjutant General Captains Career Course and Webster University Cooperative
Masters Degree Program was developed in accordance with the American Council on
Education's Joint Statement on the Transfer and Award of Credit, which contains
guidelines approved by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and
the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO).
Sequential Degrees
A large percentage of JCSOS and JCWS graduates have already complete a masters degree from another regionally accrdited college or university. In accordance with Webster University policy, a student who has earned a masters degree from another regionally accredited college of university is eligible to complete a sequential degree with Webster University, and only the completion of core courses in the declared area are required. In many cases, students can reduce the number of hours to 24 credit when comparable coursework has been satisfactorily completed elsewhere.
Webster University Graduate Credit Awarded
Transfer credit is awarded to AGCCC graduates who completed the AGCCC resident course. AGCCC graduates must submit an official copy of the Academic Evaluation Report (DD Form 1059) to Webster University that reflects "Achieved Course Standards" or "Exceeded Course Standards" in the Performance Summary block in order to receive credit. Qualified students enrolled in the AGCCC/Webster Cooperative Master Degree program are awarded 9-12 semester hours of graduate credit toward the appropriate Webster University masters degree program as shown in charts below.
