Career Planning and Development Center: The Career Planning and Development Center empowers students to become independent job seekers and career managers by focusing on comprehensive career education. This office houses two functions: the Student Employment Program and career advising. The Student Employment Program, designed to help students meet educational expenses through meaningful employment, provides assistance with work-study or budget positions. The second function, career advising, involves supporting students in exploring options for their academic major or career path; developing resumes, cover letters, and other application materials; and building the skills needed to obtain internships and jobs related to their major. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with their Career Advisor during their first year at Webster.
