Dr. Thomas (Tom) Oates
Dr. Oates is responsible for the overall management of the Webster University Ghana Campus, supervising all the staff and faculty and developing a vision for the campus. Dr. Oates holds an MA in English from St. Louis University and a PhD in American Literature, also from St. Louis University. Director of Finance & Accounting
Vida Aku Afrifa
Aku carries out roles in conducting financial analysis, developing and implementing
an effective accounting system for the Ghana
campus, managing payroll and directing other administrative functions. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Affiliate of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) with 8+ years of professional experience.
Kodjo holds an MA in Library Studies from the University of Ghana, a BA in Library Science/Political Science from Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria, a certificate in information technology from GIMPA and over 15 years of solid post qualification experience in library administration.
Executive Assistant & Director for Community Affairs
Victoria Dela Adeborna
Victoria Assists the Campus Director in the day-to-day operation of his duties to advance
strategic initiatives important for Webster University Ghana Campus. She also serve
as the first-line of engagement between the campus and the community to establish
long-term partnerships and maintain strong communication ties with key communities
in supporting the long term goals of
the University. Victoria attended Webster University in St. Louis for both her MBA and BA in Management with an emphasis in Marketing. She also holds a Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Accra Polytechnic.
General Maintenance Coordinator
Daniel Aduamah Asare
Daniel is responsible for supervising maintenance work by external contractors having to do with the physical building. He has a Diploma in Business Studies, Account Option, from Kumasi Polytechnic and certificates in Office Management and Administration from MDPI and Project Management from Sterling Projects Group.
Director of Enrollment Management
Ken directs marketing and recruiting, and oversees the admissions procedures for graduate and undergraduate students. Ken has worked professionally in the US, Canada, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland, and holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BA in English from the University of Calgary.
Director of Student Affairs
John J. Ginsburg, J.D.
John is responsible for student life and activities, including student government, clubs and organizations, new student orientation, and campus programs. John holds a law degree from Saint Louis University, an MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University, and a BS in Mathematics and Cognitive Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Wadi Degla Representative
Ramy represents the partners that joined Webster University for the Ghana Campus, Wadi Degla. He supervises some of the financial and administrative functions of the campus and serves as a liaison between the two entities of the joint venture. Ramy holds a BComm in Accounting from Cairo University.
Esther is responsible for coordinating the provision of high quality and sustainable administrative support. She also handles the front-line of inquiries coming to Webster Ghana Campus. Esther has a BA in French and Political Science from the University of Ghana - Legon, a certificate in International Applied Languages from the University of Marc Bloch, as well as a certificate in Office Management and Development Skills from Michael Stevens Consulting.
