Dr. Thomas (Tom) Oates
Dr. Oates is responsible for the overall management of the Webster University Ghana Campus, supervising all the staff and faculty and developing a vision for the campus. Dr. Oates holds an MA in English from St. Louis University and a PhD in American Literature, also from St. Louis University. Executive Assistant to the Director
Victoria Dela Adeborna
Victoria assists the Campus Director in the day-to-day operation of his duties, and is a first-line of engagement between the campus and the community. Victoria attended Webster University in St. Louis for both her MBA and BA in Management with an emphasis in Marketing. She also holds a Higher National Diploma in Marketing from Accra Polytechnic.
Wadi Degla Representative
Ramy represents the partners that joined Webster University for the Ghana Campus, Wadi Degla. He supervises some of the financial and administrative functions of the campus and serves as a liaison between the two entities of the joint venture. Ramy holds a BComm in Accounting from Cairo University.
Kodjo holds an MA in Library Studies from the University of Ghana, a BA in Library Science/Political Science from Bayero University in Kano, Nigeria, a certificate in information technology from GIMPA and over 15 years of solid post qualification experience in library administration.
Daniel is responsible for managing the day-to-day upkeep of the facilities and grounds of the campus, including maintenance and security. He has a Diploma in Business Studies, Account Option, from Kumasi Polytechnic and certificates in Office Management and Administration from MDPI and Project Management from Sterling Projects Group.
Ken oversees the admissions process and procedures for graduate and undergraduate students, and handles marketing and recruiting for the campus. Ken has worked professionally in the US, Canada, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland, and holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia and a BA in English from the University of Calgary.
Director of Student Affairs
John J. Ginsburg, J.D.
John is responsible for student life and activities, including student government, clubs and organizations, new student orientation, and campus programs. John holds a law degree from Saint Louis University, an MS in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University, and a BS in Mathematics and Cognitive Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
Director for Finance & Accounting
Vida Aku Afrifa
Aku carries out roles in conducting financial analysis, developing and implementing
an effective accounting system for the Ghana
campus, managing payroll and directing other administrative functions. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Affiliate of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) with 8+ years of professional experience.
Esther is frequently the first person visitors encounter, whether in person or over the phone, as she handles the front-line of inquiries coming to the Webster Ghana Campus. Esther has a BA in French and Political Science from the University of Ghana – Legon, a certificate in International Applied Languages from the University of Marc Bloch, as well as a certificate in Office Management and Development Skills from Michael Stevens Consulting.
