Daniel Webster Society
The Daniel Webster Society recognizes and celebrates Webster University donors who have made gifts of $1,250+ throughout the University’s fiscal year. Members of the Daniel Webster Society invest in Webster University by making gifts that strengthen academic programs in each of Webster’s five schools and colleges. They also fund scholarships, grow the University’s endowment, support capital improvements and provide annual operating support.
Donors interested in supporting students may now fund a Daniel Webster Society Annual Scholarship with a gift of $1,500. With this gift option, donors may put the scholarship in their name or in the name of someone they wish to honor, and designate the gift for a student in any one of Webster’s five schools or colleges. The donor will be invited to meet their student at the University’s annual scholarship dinner.
Each year, Webster University recognizes and honors the distinguished members of the Daniel Webster Society through its annual dinner. Additionally, members of the Daniel Webster Society are guests of the University throughout the year at special campus functions, providing members with exclusive access to faculty, performers and guest lecturers.

Benefits of your tax-deductible membership include invitations to special Daniel Webster Society events throughout the year. These may be outstanding musical and theatre performances, receptions with nationally recognized speakers, educational programs, and lectures. Each fall a recognition dinner is held for DWS members and they are also recognized in the Honor Roll of Donors published in Webster World magazine. DWS members distinguish themselves through generosity, interest and leadership, all of which are critically needed and appreciated by Webster.
