Gift Planning – Real Estate

Your home, vacation home, farm or other real estate can be given to Webster in multiple ways:

Outright - Your gift can qualify for a charitable deduction at full market value and eliminate capital gain liability. Our gift planning staff will gladly work with you to determine how an outright gift can be accomplished.

Retained Life Estate - You may give your personal residence, farm or vacation home to Webster, while reserving the right to live in that property for your lifetime. You will receive an immediate tax deduction for the gift, based on your age.

Charitable Trust - You may transfer real estate to Webster University while continuing to receive income for you and your beneficiaries. Typically, the real estate is sold and the assets reinvested in a manner that achieves your income requirements.
