Welcome to Bangkok . . .

Bangkok is home to approximately 10 million people. This sophisticated city is situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, which flows into the Gulf of Thailand. Bangkok's cosmopolitan skyline, blending modern office towers and historic religious shrines, expresses the adeptness of the Thai people to fuse the old with the new.

Webster University's Bangkok Center is conveniently located in the commercial heart of Bangkok near the Chidlom BTS station. From that starting point, students in the Global MA in International Relations program can visit important sites in Bangkok and the rest of the Thailand.

As a top financial and political hub of Southeast Asia, Bangkok is an ideal place to learn about international affairs. Leisure time can be spent on the beautiful beaches of Koh Chang, Koh Samui, and Phuket, just a short drive from the city.
