Christine Eason


Christine EasonChristine Eason is part of the strategic communications team within the Global Marketing & Communications unit of Webster University, where she develops, executes and maintains the institutional internal communications program; provides strategic and tactical support and counsel for crisis communications; assists with executive communications and key message development; and conducts media relations analytical research. She also works with Public Safety on developing and maintaining the institution's crisis preparedness program.

She has 20 years experience in K-12 and higher education public and media relations, employee and crisis communications, special events and strategic planning. She has completed several crisis management courses including ones in pandemic planning and on the FEMA NIMS Incident Command System.

Eason, a native of Missouri, holds an MBA and an MA in Public Relations from Webster University, and a BA in Journalism Communications from Truman State University. She is a graduate of the CORO Women in Leadership program and is a board member of Epworth Children and Family Services, a Webster Groves-based United Way-funded organization. Christine has worked in marketing communications at the University for 15 years in a variety of roles and capacities.
