Emily Grise

Emily GriseEmily serves as Communications Coordinator for the College of Arts & Sciences. In this capacity, she oversees marketing and communications initiatives for all programs, events, and activities in the College, and works cooperatively with the Global Marketing & Communications Department to support the College's continuity with Webster's overall branding.

Emily holds a BA in English from Transylvania University – a small liberal arts college in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky – and an MFA in poetry from the University of Missouri—St. Louis. Her poems have appeared in several national literary journals, and she also volunteers as Associate Poetry Editor for WomenArts Quarterly – a St. Louis-based publication which seeks to nurture and promote the work of women writers and artists. Outside the office, Emily enjoys good books, spin class, cooking, and quality time with her pet rabbit named Pickle. If you get her started, she'll wax extravagantly on the merits of the semicolon.
