Karen Burch
Interactive Media Manager
Karen Burch leads photography and videography services in the Global Marketing and Communications
unit at Webster University.
She has 20+ years experience working in higher education in marketing and communications departments. Karen shoots, edits and produces videos for the university community, provides video stream support and offers assistance with online and multimedia presentations. Karen works with Claudia Burris to provide all the photography needs to the university community and to the Global Marketing and Communications unit.
Burch came to Webster University in 1996 and holds an MA in Media Communications from Webster University (2000) and a BS in English from Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Ore.
Karen is an adjunct faculty member in the School of Communications where she teaches magazine production and advises the student magazine, The Ampersand.
