Geneva is the world's headquarters for the private asset management industry as almost one-third of the world's private assets are managed by private banks located in Geneva. Additional, the Geneva region is the headquarters for large multinational firms such as Caterpillar, DuPont, Proctor & Gamble, Nestlé, Philip Morris, Medtronic, Ralph Lauren and more. Geneva also houses one of the two headquarters of the United Nations.

This spirit of international business and cooperation made Geneva an ideal place for Webster to open its first international campus near Lake Leman in 1978, just seven minutes by train from the city center. Today, more than 500 students representing 100 nationalities are enrolled.

During your 9-week stay in Geneva you will complete:
  • BUSN 5760 Applied Business Statistics: The student examines the application of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis in business decision making. The course should focus on the utilization of statistical methods as applied to business problems and operations.
  • MNGT 5590 Organizational Behavior: This course introduces students to many of the basic principles of human behavior that effective managers use when managing individuals and groups in organizations. These include theories relating to individual differences in abilities and attitudes, attribution, motivation, group dynamics, power and politics, leadership, conflict resolution, organizational culture, and organizational structure and design.

In addition, you'll have the opportunity to visit sites such as one of the region's large private banks, the headquarters of multinational corporations and the United Nations.
