Welcome to

Webster University

Greenville Metropolitan Campus

The Greenville Metropolitan Campus of Webster University opened in the fall of 1993 to serve Upstate South Carolina. Located at 250 Commonwealth Drive Suite 109, near St. Francis Women's and Family Hospital on the east side of Greenville, our campus has easy access from all over Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Pickens, Greenwood Counties.  We also have many students from other surrounding areas.  We offer five nine-week terms (two in the fall, two in the spring and one in the summer) each year, with an enrollment of about 400 students each term. We offer master's degrees in the following fields:

  • Master of Business Administration (36-credit hours)
  • Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in Human Resources Development (48-credit hours)
  • Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in Human Resources Management (48-credit hours)
  • Master of Business Administration, with emphasis in Management (48-credit hours)
  • Master of Arts in Human Resources Development (36-credit hours)
  • Master of Arts in Human Resources Management (36-credit hours)
  • Master of Arts in Management (36-credit hours)
  • Master of Arts in Counseling (please see below)
  • Dual Majors (39-42-credit hours)
  • On-Line Master of Business Administration (36-credit hours)

Note: The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an area of emphasis, essentially, is comprised of the nine core courses in 36-semster-hour MBA and the core courses in the Master of Arts program that corresponds to the area of emphasis.

Some forty faculty members drawn from business and industry give a real-world academic tone to our classes.  Moreover, approximately 85 percent of our faulty have an earned doctorate in their field.  This allows students to receive a strong mixture of the theoretical and the practical aspects of their discipline.  Currently, classes are held in evenings from 5:45pm - 10:00pm, Monday - Thursday.

Our students are employed full-time and generally take two courses per nine-week term, completing their graduate degree in fifteen to twenty months, depending upon their major.  As full-time employees they combine their experiences with those of their instructors to create a classroom environment where both the theoretical and practical applications can be studied and discussed.  Many of our students receive tuition reimbursement from their employer, and federal student aid is available. An academic advisor meets with each interested applicant and guides him/her through the admissions, registration, and advising process.

Please feel free to email us at greenville@webster.edu for more information or to schedule an appointment to meet with our academic advisor.
