Gorlok Television, is a student-run on-campus television station that functions through Webster University’s School of Communications. It is an extra-curricular organization that looks to provide the student body with both fun and educational programming while promoting on-campus organizations and featuring student life.

GTV members are volunteers and the goal is to incorporate all majors and all levels of experience. Students get free, hands on training as part of GTV Boot Camp. GTV Boot Camp is a training session that is offered once in the Fall Semester and once in the Spring Semester. It teaches students how to operate cameras, gain lighting and audio skills, and edit in Final Cut Pro.

GTV is committed to doing its best and getting fresh content out to the students as quickly and efficiently as possible. Stay tuned as we continue to reinvent your student station: GTV Channel 10.

GTV BOOT CAMP
Want to work for GTV?

All GTV members start out in GTV Boot Camp. Boot Camp is a training program taught by current GTV members and overseen by GTV Adviser, Aaron Aubuchon. What do you need to know? GTV Boot Camp is:

*for all majors, years, and levels of experience (including no experience!)

*teaches you all the essentials of shooting, editing, and programming

*gives you the hands-on experience early so that you don’t have to wait
to wait several semesters to get access through production courses

      *is totally free!

GTV Boot Camp is offered at
the start of every semester.
Boot Camp participants take a
practical test after completion
of the program and become
part of the GTV crew. If you
have prior production
experience, you may qualify to
test out of Boot Camp.
The Spring 2009 session
begins January 26th.
