I want GTV to tape an event on campus. How do I get a copy?

GTV is a volunteer student-run television station: not a video service for the University. Taping requests may, however be made 2 weeks prior to the event by looking over GTV’s taping policies and filling out a taping request form:

Personal copies of any GTV piece may be purchased for $10 per DVD.

My department/organization/class would like to shoot something for GTV. How do I do this?

Every Tuesday from 4-6pm, GTV hosts a ‘hot’ studio. GTV crew will be on hand in SVER 131 to make anything you may want to create possible. Some examples include video lectures, roundtable discussions, PSAs, and advertisements.

Please contact GTV prior to showing up to the ‘hot studio.

How does GTV usually cover events on campus?

For the news segments in GTV’s Webster Updates, GTV typically covers events by taping the majority of the event from multiple camera angles, interviewing members of the Webster community, and editing it down into a 3-5 minute coverage piece. GTV retains the raw footage after the event, but the majority remains unedited.
