    ResTech Drop-Off Services

    Drop-Off Appointments

    All of the work done by ResTech is by appointments only.

    To set an appointments call 314-968-5995 or Make an Appointment online 

    Drop-Off Appointments allow our ResTech consultants examine your computer and make sure that it is clean of viruses/malware and running smoothly while you are on the Webster network.

    What We Do

    • Remove viruses
    • Remove spyware and malware
    • Delete temporary files
    • Perform Windows updates
    • Remove invasive software
    • Perform general operating system maintenance
    • Minimize startup programs for faster startup
    • Troubleshoot network connectivity settings
    • Configuring browsers and firewalls for IPTV to work properly

    What To Bring To A Drop-Off Appointment

    • Student ID Card (Required)
    • Power Cord
    • YOUR network (Ethernet) cable for testing (required only if you are having internet connection problems)
    • Passwords for system, screen savers and anti-virus programs that we would need to access

    NOTE: Failure to bring the necessary equipment will result in delays.

    What To Expect At A Drop-Off Appointment

    • You bring your computer to 8300 Big Bend Blvd (Sverdrup Building) Room 107 and explain the current problems with the machine.
    • You will be asked for your Student ID Card, and we make a copy of it, so that we can keep it on file for security purposes
    • We verify residential status
    • You will then read and sign a ResTech computer service agreement and fill out a drop-off form. On this drop-off form, you can list any certain programs that you do not wish to have removed or installed.
    • We will then go through the process of what they will do to the computer, and about how long it will take for the computer to be completed and how you will be contacted when the computer is completed.

    What Happens After I Drop Off My Computer

    • We affix removable tags to your computer to identify it
    • We secure your computer and accessories (computers can only be accessed by ResTech staff and ResTech management)
    • We input your information into a database for tracking
    • We do the agreed up work on your computer, tracking all steps in the database
    • When the work is done on it, usually in about 3-5 working days, you will be contacted first by phone and then by E-Mail to let you know that your computer is done,
    • You will need to schedule a pickup appointment where they can get their computer.
