    ResTech In-Room Services

    In-Room Appointments

    • Appointments are required for In-Room Service.
    • Appointments are made by calling ResTech at 314-968-5995
    • You can also make an appointment online.

    Make an Appointment

    In-Room Appointments are for those users that need to have their computer looked over quickly. Sometimes we might find a problem that does require the user to make a drop-off appointment with their computer.

    What We Do

    ResTech In-Room Service Scope of Work – Windows PCs

    • Running Windows Updates
    • Checking For Spyware, Malware, and Invasive Software
    • Perform Startup Minimization
    • Delete Temporary Files
    • Test Network Connectivity

    ResTech In-Room Service Scope of Work – Macintosh Computers

    • Install Software Updates
    • Perform System Optimization and Disk Utility

    ResTech In-Room Service Scope of Work – General

    • Check IPTV
    • Test Network and Telephone Port Connectivity

    What To Expect From In-Room Appointments

    • You must be present at the time of the appointment.
    • You will be asked for your student ID card.
    • You will be asked to read and sign a ResTech Computer In-Room Service Agreement. No work will be done on your computer without this signed form.
    • You will be asked to fill out a ResTech In-Room Service form. This is required to be completed in full.
    • You must stay in your room for the entire length of the visit, a roommate or friends is not sufficient, it must be you.
    • The door to the room/bedroom must stay open the entire length of the visit.
    • If the problem is more than can be resolved in one hour the ResTech consultant may ask that you bring your computer in for a drop-off appointment.
    • Due to time constraints virus removal cannot be done during in-room visits.

    What We Cannot Do at In-Room Appointments

    • Virus Scans or any procedure or troubleshooting that will take longer than one (1) hour
