The Holden Public Policy Forum @ Webster University has teamed up with FOCUS St. Louis to kick off a new program dedicated to focusing on Downtown Issues. This speaker series, FOCUS on Downtown St. Louis with the Holden Public Policy Forum, aims to get people to come downtown more often, foster a dialogue about misconceptions, challenges and solutions, and realize the area’s importance in the health of the region. The roster of guest speakers are comprised of local media personalities, including: McGraw Milhaven (KTRS), Carol Daniel (KMOX), Mike Owens (KSDK), and Jo Mannies (The Beacon). These individuals are the ones on the ground who have been reporting and investigating these issues, unlike policy makers and elected officials whose terms come and go. In addition to discussing regional specific issues, local Missouri wines will be available for sample after each program. All programs are free and open to the public.
