| Senator Ken Jacobs and Senator Tim Green Senator Jacobs was elected to the 19th District Missouri State Senate in 1996 and 2000. He also served on the following committees: Education Financial and Governmental Organization, Veterans' Affairs and Elections Insurance and Housing Public Health and Welfare Ways and Means. Senator Green was elected to the 13th District Missouri State Senate in 2004 after serving as a State Representative from 1989 - 2002. He has served on the following committees: Appropriations, Commerce, Energy and the Environment, Rules, Small Business, Insurance and Industrial Relations, and Missouri State Employees' Retirement System Board. |

| Tony Messenger, St. Louis Post Dispatch Tony Messenger is a reporter and columnist at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Jefferson City bureau. Tony has also worked for the Springfield News-Leader AND the Columbia Daily Tribune, and has worked in Arizona, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Colorado. He has spent nearly 20 years in the industry. |
| Travis Ford, Director of Communications Missouri Division of Finance Travis is a 1992 graduate of the University of Missouri. His bachelor’s degree is in Broadcast Journalism.Travis spent most of his career in radio and TV news in central Missouri. In his current role with the Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration, he is responsible for consumer outreach, determining how to best communicate with Missourians about their consumer rights and responsibilities, as well as the financial traps and scams they need to avoid. Prior to joining the DIFP, Travis spent four years handling consumer education for then Attorney General Jay Nixon, now Governor of Missouri. |
Catherine Hanaway, Former U.S. Attorney & Speaker of the House From Wednesday, September 9th, in the Sunnen Lounge, UC Hanaway was the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. She is also a former Republican Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives; and was the First Female Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives. She left her post in April 2009 to join former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft in building a nationwide law firm. The firm is headquartered in Kansas City, and Hanaway leads the new St. Louis office, Ashcroft Hanaway. |
