President of People’s Medical Society Charles B. Inlander to Speak at the Holden Public Policy Forum @ Webster University

Charles B. Inlander, president of the People’s Medical Society, health commentator on Public Radio International’s Marketplace, and a founder of the Civil Justice Foundation, will discuss the “Health Care Mayhem: Why Consumers Must Recapture America’s Health Care System”, September 21, 7pm, at the Old Post Office in downtown

St. Louis, 815 Olive Blvd.  Inlander will be speaking as part of the “Healthy Futures” series of the Holden Public Policy Forum @ Webster University.

In his presentation, he will document the decline of the American health care system and the erosion of the public’s influence on health care policy.  He will also outline how the American public can and must recapture the health care system in order to make it responsive to consumer needs and efficient in the way it does business.

Inlander has guided one of the most influential consumer health advocacy organizations in the United States, the People’s Medical Society, since it’s founding in early 1983. He began the Charles Inlander Organization, Inc., an international health marketing, media and communications consulting firm and is the co-author of many best-selling and award winning books including Take This Book to the Hospital with You, Medicine on Trial and Medicare Made Easy.
