Part-time Care Giver

We have an elementary school age, absolutely adorable and sweet son named Jacob who has epilepsy, which has rendered him with global developmental delays. He is non-verbal, non-ambulatory and is content/happy 24 hours per day. He typically has 1-3 seizures each day. No medical experience is necessary. Training/coaching will be provided. We live in Chesterfield, near Baxter and Clarkson and are looking for someone upbeat and team oriented and wants to make a difference in a child and family’s life!
- Winter break hours will vary depending on the day. Typical hours would range from 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and/or shared shifts on the long days if interested and if we can find the right team.
- Beginning January 7th – two shifts available:
- Wednesdays 1:30 – 7 pm weekly
- One other shift 3:45 – 7 pm Thursdays or Fridays weekly
- More hours are available if you are open to shifts on occasional evenings or weekends.
Jacob works with a PT, OT and/or ST four afternoons per week. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are in human services such as child development, speech and language, physical, occupational and/or music therapies, psychology, nursing, general/special education etc…
We wish for someone who can play with, interact with and help teach Jacob the world around him. We want someone who wants to participate in community activities with him (we have a new accessible van for your use.)
He also needs help with being transferred for positioning – presently weighs 75 lbs.

Seeking full time in home child care for 18 month old daughter and 4 year old son. Maribeth is 18 months old and an adorable, easy going baby. She does receive in home therapy a couple of times a week for her special needs. She would need care 5 days a week. Jimmy is a 4 years old and is in afternoon pre-school from 12:30 to 3:30 M,T,W,&Th. He is quiet, and likes to play by himself or entertain his sister. He would require 4 half days, and on full day of care per week. We live in Kirkwood, close to the intersection of Big Bend Road and Highway 44., in a nice quiet neighborhood. Taking Jimmy to pre-school may be required, and this school is about 10 blocks away.
