    Wireless Internet Access

Wireless access is not available in West Hall, East Hall, or in the Webster Village Apartments. Student may bring their own wireless routers to create a wireless network in their room, but they must follow IT's instructions on setting up a wireless router, located here. Maria Hall DOES have access to Webster Wi-Fi.

There are several wireless hotspots around campus, more information can be found at http://www.webster.edu/helpdesk/students/internet/wireless/index.shtml

    Suggested Telephone Equipment

Webster University residence halls and student apartments are equipped with VoIP (Voice Over IP) technology. This means that all telephone traffic is routed through the network infrastructure. However, you will still use a traditional phone to make and receive telephones. You will also have a direct dial telephone number, not an extension.

    • Telephone
    • Any touchtone telephone should work on our system, we cannot however vouch for or support any specific brand or model
    • Telephone cord (RJ11)
    • Answering Machine
    • Phone service does not include voice mail. You may bring a tape or digital answering machine to hook up to your phone.
