Meal Plan Features
- All-you-care-to-eat meals at Marletto's (view hours at https://websterdining.sodexomyway.com/)
- Transferable meals available at Crossroads (specified combo meals)
- A is a declining balance meal plan (Points do not carry over in between semesters)
- B is a weekly plan; meals must be used each week and only by the meal plan holder (no guest meals)
- C and D are block plans; meals can be used anytime throughout the semester for the student holder of the meal plan and their guest
Points are a credit added to your meal plan. This credit may be used at any Campus Dining Services location. Unused points carry over to spring semester if you have Meal Plan B, C, or D. However, unused points at the end of spring semester will not carry over to the fall semester. Meal Plan A points do not carry over between any semesters.
Gorlok Bucks require a separate contract and are not part of the meal plan. Gorlok Bucks may be used at selected off-campus restaurants to offer more variety and longer hours of service to campus residents. Gorlok Bucks can also be used at on-campus locations. If used on-campus, the purchase will be tax free and discounted for items purchased. All balances remaining on Gorlok Bucks will be forfeited after 18 months of inactivity. You may purchase Gorlok Bucks by completing the contract, which is an online form on the PatronWeb through Housing and Residential Life. Go to this web site: https://housing.webster.edu/PatronWeb. Use your Webster University Connections username and password to log in. You will then click on the appropriate form.

Meal Plan Rates
All students living in the residence halls and all first year students living on campus must purchase a meal plan for the entire year they reside on campus.

Meal Plan Options 2016-2017
Based on Feedback we have made changes and added a new meal plan. Please see below:
A - $1,700 Points Plan (Declining Balance): $2,370 per semester ($670 to University Overhead)
This plan offers the most flexibility and is designed for individuals who eat most of their meals at the University Center, the Emerson Library, or the East Academic Building.
**This plan is not available for First-time Freshman residential students during the Fall semester.
**Points do no roll over from semester-to-semester on this plan
B - 19 Meal Plan: $2,570 per semester ($910 to University Overhead)
This plan is designed for the individual who leads an active lifestyle. It is the best fit for an individual who prefers all-you-care-to-eat meals in Marletto’s for most of their meals.
19 meals per week with $100 in points for the semester. Meals must be used each week or they are forfeited. Meals may only be used by the meal plan holder (no guest meals). Points left over from the fall semester will roll over and add to the points for the spring semester.
C - 180 Meal Block: $2,500 per semester ($910 to University Overhead)
This plan is designed to meet the needs of most of our residential students. It has been our most popular plan.
180 meals per semester with $200 in points for the semester. Meals can be used anytime throughout the semester for the student holder of the meal plan or their guest(s). Unused meals at the end of the semester are forfeited. Points left over from the fall semester will roll over and add to the points for the spring semester.
D - 115 Meal Block: $2,440 per semester ($910 to University Overhead)
The plan is designed for the student who is occasionally off campus, involved in activities such as internships or off-campus jobs. It offers more flexibility by having a large amount of points.
115 meals per semester with $350 in points for the semester. Meals can be used anytime throughout the semester for the student holder of the meal plan or their guest(s). Unused meals at the end of the semester are forfeited. Points left over from the fall semester will roll over and add to the points for the spring semester.
** A percentage of the price for each meal plan covers the University’s costs for the dining facilities (University Overhead). The rest goes to our dining services contractor, Sodexo.
At the dining locations in the University Center, meal exchanges, or meal combos,
are specified for those wishing to use a meal on their meal plan. Outside of these
meal combos, you must use points to purchase food at these University Center locations,
as well as at dining locations in the library, and the East Academic Building.
The designated meal periods are:
Monday – Friday
Breakfast 7:00 a.m. – 10:59 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 a.m. – 3:59 p.m.
Dinner 4:00 p.m. – 7:29 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, Break Weeks at Marletto’s
Brunch (limited stations) 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Dinner (limited stations) 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
How to Sign Up For or Change a Meal Plan
The housing application includes a section for residents to select their meal plan. Once a Meal Plan is selected, it is in effect for the entire school year. The type of meal plan can be changed until the end of the second week (Friday) of either semester. If you wish to make any changes to your meal plan choice prior to this deadline or if you don't have a meal plan and want one, you can also fill out the Meal Plan Change Contract on https://housing.webster.edu/PatronWeb/. The contract is intended for:
- Commuting students
- Residents of the Webster Village Apartments (WVA)
- Students wanting to change their meal plan for the semester
