Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I get for being an RA?
A: If you are hired for the residence halls, you will receive a single room, a meal plan, and a stipend of $875 for the year. If you are hired for the Webster Village Apartments, you will receive a single room and a monthly stipend of $150.
Q: Do I have to attend RA information sessions?
A: It is not required to attend these sessions, but it is strongly encouraged. The sessions provide you with more information on the position and can help answer any questions that you may have.
Q: How do I apply if I want to study abroad in the Spring 2007 semester?
A: Contact Luke Davis at (314) 246-4663, or lucasdavis06@webster.edu. You must apply and schedule an interview by December 15, 2006.
Q: When can I turn in my application?
A: Applications are due by January 26. They can be submitted online at any time after December 1.
Q: Can I turn in my complete application forms early?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I mail my completed application or references?
A: No. Applications will only be accepted electronically.
Q: What happens if I don't complete part of the selection process, or if I miss a deadline?
A: You will NOT be able to continue in the RA selection process and will be ineligible to be hired.
Q:Can I apply... in my freshman year for a Fall 2007-Spring 2008 position?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I apply... as a transfer student in the fall semester?
A: Yes.
