The mission of the Human Resource Department is to serve as the link between prospective employees and the institution in an attempt to recruit and hire the most qualified individuals, without regard to race, age, sex, or disability, for any position vacancy within the University Community.
The department also acts as a liaison between the institution and the employee to inform, motivate, educate, and train in all matters relating to employment and employee benefits.
We strive to enthusiastically and professionally project a positive image of the University, thereby creating a desire to become and remain an integral part of Webster University.
Professional development is essential to the improvement and advancement of employee skills, job satisfaction, and preparation for organizational change. Each year, the Human Resource department will sponsor professional development/educational programs to assist in meeting the needs of employees as well as the institution.
Employees are encouraged to contact the Human Resource department to provide suggestions on professional development/educational programs.
