2020 Benefits Enrollment & Retirement Plan Updates

Webster is updating insurance benefits as well as the retirement plan structure in 2020. Be on the lookout for email messages from Human Resources so you are informed of changes and any actions you need to take to get the most out of your Webster benefits package.

Insurance Benefits Timeline

  • Week of Oct. 21: Detailed benefits information sent to your Webster email account
  • Week of Oct. 28: Benefit Info meetings begin on site and via WebEx Nov. 1 - Open Enrollment Begins – enroll online through myadp.com  (Enrollment is only required for changes unless you want to add or continue Flexible Spending or Health Savings Accounts)
  • Nov. 7 (note: date has been corrected since original posting) - Annual Benefits Fair, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Sunnen Lounge (Features insurance vendors, Webster Wellness and benefits team)
  • Nov. 15 - Open Enrollment Ends – last day for 2020 benefit changes

Retirement Plan Timeline

  • Week of Nov. 4: Important Retirement Plan Updates sent by Webster to your email and home
  • Week of Nov. 11: TIAA send formal communication about 2020 changes in the Webster retirement plans per your designated method (email or mail)
  • Nov. 12 – TIAA on-site for individually scheduled meetings.
  • Call 800-732-8353 or register online at www.TIAA.org/schedulenow
  • Weeks of Nov. 18 and Dec. 2:
    • Retirement Plan information meetings begin on site and via WebEx
    • Benefits Specialists available for emails, calls, individual appointments
  • Week of Dec. 16:
    • TIAA distributes formal confirmations of updated enrollment
  • Dec. 18 – TIAA on-site for individually scheduled meetings

January 2020: Updated insurance benefits and retirement plan structure in effect

• Login to mycigna.com to see your progress for a 2020 discount in your medical premiums
• Employees and covered spouses/domestic partners must both achieve 100% 
ACT NOW - deadline to complete requirements is December 31
(Note: Discount is applied once earned and notified by Cigna)
