Q: Can I study abroad more than once? In more than one location?
A: Yes, you can! Webster wants its students to be international, which means we want to send you all over the world. Why not try a semester in Thailand, then one in Leiden? Or summer in Vienna and fall in China? Webster University students can maintain their Webster St. Louis financial aid for up to five 8-week terms abroad. If a student would like to study abroad more than five cumulative 8-week terms than he/she will no longer retain Webster St. Louis financial aid.
Q: What are classes like?
A: At Webster's international campuses, classes will be small, like the home campus, St. Louis. Students at the overseas campuses come from over 100 different countries. In contrast, the exchange programs will have more U.S. students and local students enrolled in courses.
Q: I only speak English. Do I need to speak another language?
A: Not really, but it wouldn't hurt you to start learning. Webster's programs are offered in English; the exchange programs offer languages courses as well as English courses. We want all student to begin studying the language of their host country as soon as possible to maximize the experience.
Q: What is a Student Visa? Will I need one?
A: A visa is a document from your host country giving you permission to live in that country for an extended period of time. Depending on where you are going, how long, and your nationality, you may need to apply for a visa. It is your responsibility to apply for your own visa.

Q: Do I keep my Financial Aid and Scholarships?
A: While abroad, you will pay Webster St. Louis tuition and retain all of your Scholarships and Financial Aid package (with the exception of Work Study grants.) If you are studying abroad in the summer, you will only keep your federal financial aid.
