WebsterWorksWorldwide11- Another Year of Service
VOLUNTEER COMMENTS
• "Just seeing the excitement on the kids faces when we walked in was amazing. I never would have imagined we would make such a difference in just one day."
• "I had a lot of fun working with young children at the Annie Malone Children and Family Services. The children came from very poor family homes and it really made me want to leave an impact on them. Also, it made me thankful of my own childhood."
• "I absolutely love that Webster has a community service dayŠ I have participated for 10 years now and will continue to do so. I have worked many places, but I love working at the Open Door Animal Sanctuary where I also volunteer outside of work."
• "It's an extremely worthwhile program and an amazing opportunity for students to make a difference."
• "We couldn't begin to do enough for these kids and those who care for them. It was a privilege. This is great but we should do it more often. Departments could partner with individual nonprofits to do year-long projects. One day is the beginning!"
• "An incredible experience. A great way to meet people and feel like we have really done something to help out."
AGENCY COMMENTS
• "I could not have asked for a better crew! They were great. They knew exactly what I needed and did the job without any problems. I have been using WWW volunteers for the past three years and it keeps getting better every year."
Animal Protective Association-St. Louis
• "We always have a very enthusiastic team of volunteers from Webster University who aren't afraid of working hard and doing dirty jobs. Although their time was up, they continued working until the job was done. Thank you!"
Ronald McDonald House-Leiden, The Netherlands
• "All of the volunteers were very helpful and anxious to do a good job. They were interested in meeting our children and incorporating their likes into the finished mural. The whole team did a great job and we are very happy with the finished product."
Children's Home Society of Missouri-St. Louis
• "Everyone was extremely helpful and had good suggestions toward fixing some items around Kimberly's Cottage. I look forward to participating next year and have no doubt we will have great volunteers, just like this time."
Kimberly's Cottage, Ocala, Florida
• "Webster Works Worldwide highlights the importance of volunteerism in the community. It was great to be part of this since we both support education."
KidSmart-Tools for Learning-St. Louis
• "You have made an incredible contribution to our organization. The students and the coordinator dedicated many hours of hard work to us."
La Clinica-St. Louis
• "Webster Works volunteers took chores and completed them far beyond our expectations. They were efficient, friendly, kind and thorough. Thank you!!!"
