"Great program! Keep it going! Good environment to work in and I felt that our work was greatly appreciated by the staff at Our Lady's Inn."
—Monica Campbell, staff

"The kids and teachers at City Academy could not have been any more welcoming. Everyone told us what a beautiful job we did and it was great when the little kids came up to us and thanked us."
—Ngozi Williams, student

"Wonderful time. Wonderful place. I shoveled rocks by myself for a while, and since I was turning up dirt, the chickens got interested. By the time I was done, I had five chickens at my feet, pecking the ground and helping me kick away the dirt."
—A volunteer at New Roots Urban Farm

"I worked with a young woman who didn't know how to do simple division. I showed her how to work a problem and she did a few more. She then became very emotional because she had been told that she was dumb because she didn't know how to do this. She was so excited that she could do division and that she proved she wasn't dumb after all. It was an incredible experience."
—Al Cawns, faculty

"This is a great chance to get away from textbooks for a day and learn from doing community service. I enjoyed working with other Webster people. It's an excellent experience to make new friends (which I did) as well as fun and rewarding."
—A volunteer at Edgewood Children's Center

"This is a day I look forward to each year. As a senior at Webster I'll be sad to leave WWW behind, but because of it, I will continue to serve in my community as I enter into the next chapter of my life. At the end of the morning, the teachers from our class at the Evangelical Children's Home gave two big "Thank You" cards to us with all of the students' handprints on it! I'll definitely be hanging this in my apartment building for everyone to enjoy."
—Janele Moore, Student

"Great Afternoon! Students enjoyed the project as much as the residents. One resident who seldom participates was the first to arrive and the last to leave. Her smile was shining throughout the day and this lady usually keeps to herself. She shared with me that the visiting college student meant so much to her since she lost a 22-year-old granddaughter several years ago. Seeing these college students was a personal connection for her."
—Laclede Commons Assisted Living Center

"We were very impressed when the students walked in the door. They arrived with excitement on their faces, and we loved the T-shirts they were wearing. We enjoy having volunteers at our center, and we appreciate those who love what they are doing and believe in volunteering. We hope to be part of the Webster Works Worldwide community service day each year."
—Evangelical Children's Home Early Education Center

"Patrick, Jef and Nathan were great! They came up with a plan to organize a very disorganized storage area. I like hearing people's stories and why they chose our project. Most of them have a connection to blood cancer and are here to help."
—The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

"We are given a significant gift through the volunteers who share their time, interest, skills and energy to pack numerous boxes of books to ship to Africa. Thank you!"
—BookFriends International (Crystal Lake Metro Campus)

"During the setup and preparation for this year's "Deployed Spouses and Family Dinner" the Webster folks jumped right in with both feet. They worked with the children and made the evening enjoyable for them as well. We appreciate all of the help and support that you provide."
