1. Who is Webster University?
Webster University is a private, comprehensive, international university offering undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of disciplines including the liberal arts, fine and performing arts, business, and management. Founded in 1915, Webster University serves students at its main campus in St. Louis, Missouri, and over 100 extended campus locations in the United States, Asia, and Europe. Approximately 20,000 students are currently enrolled in the University's programs worldwide. The Kansas City Metro Campus offers adult education opportunities in undergraduate and graduate studies.

3.Where are classes held locally?
Classes are held at the Webster University Kansas City Metropolitan Campus, located at: 1200 E. 104th Street Suite 100, Kansas City, MO

4.What is the average class size?
Although classes may range in size from 4 to 25 students, average class size is 12. This provides greater opportunity for collaborative learning and student-faculty interaction.
5. Do I have to take the GRE or the GMAT to be admitted to graduate programs at Webster University?
No. To qualify for admission a student is not required to complete an entrance exam but must have earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university. A student is advanced to candidacy upon completion of 12 semester hours with a B average or above. We believe that maturity and motivation are more accurate indicators of an adult learner's potential for success than scores on standardized tests.
6. What grade point average is required for entrance and continuing students?
For B.A./B.S.N. students transferring to the Webster program, the admission requirement is a 2.5 grade point average (G.P.A.). During their studies, students are required to maintain at least a C average. For graduate applicants, an accredited baccalaureate degree or, for transfer students, grades of B or above are required. Graduate students are required to maintain a B average.
7. What type of accreditation does Webster University have?
Webster University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association, 312-263,0456, www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org
The accreditation, which was awarded in 1925, includes undergraduate and graduate levels at all locations where the University offers programs.
8. How are classes scheduled?
Baccalaureate programs are conducted on a five-term, eight-week basis. Master's programs are conducted on a five-term, nine week basis. Master of Science in Nursing and the Master of Arts in Teaching are offered in on five-term, eight week format. Generally, terms begin in January, March, May, August, and October. You may begin your program during any term. Individual classes meet from 5:30 to 9:30 one night a week.
9. What are the qualifications of the faculty?
Webster faculty members have studied what they teach, attained graduate level degrees, and worked in the field in which they teach.
10. Can I transfer credits to Webster University that I earned at another school?
Undergraduate students can transfer up to 64 hours from a two year school and/or up to 98 hours from a four year school. Graduate students in the M.B.A. program may transfer up to 9 hours. M.A.T. students may transfer 6 hours. All other programs may transfer up to 12 hours (B or above required).
11. How long will it take me to complete my degree program?
All students may take up to two courses per term, which allows for achieving 30 hours a year. Based on individual student programs you can calculate how long it will take to complete your degree.
12. What does it cost to attend Webster University?
The following fees apply to degree options at Webster University:
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Nursing/Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: $345 per credit hour
- Master of Arts in Teaching: $290 per credit hour
- Master of Arts/Master of Business Administration/Master of Science in Nursing: $435 per credit hour
- Undergraduate On-Line courses: $495 per credit hour
- Graduate On-Line courses: $575 per credit hour
- MAT On-Line courses: $485 per credit hour
- Active Duty Military: $395 per credit hour
Tuition is subject to annual review and is adjusted in the summer term.
13. Are there any other fees?
Except for books, the only other costs are the $50 application fee for graduate students ($35 for undergraduates) and a $50 graduation fee when you complete your program. There are no additional "registration" or "activity" fees. Lab fees may be required for selected courses in the M.A.T. and B.S.N. programs.
14. What are my options for paying tuition?
Private company tuition reimbursement, Veterans Administration educational benefits, Military Tuition Assistance, deferred payment plan, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and personal check are acceptable methods of payment.
15. Is financial aid available?
Students are eligible to participate in the University's student loan program. However, the amount of financial aid available may vary for each student and is determined by the Financial Aid Office at Webster University's main campus in St. Louis. http://admissions.webster.edu/admissions/finaid
