Founded in 1915 as a small private college in St. Louis, Webster University has grown into an international network of over 100 campuses across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The Louisville Metropolitan Campus is located 3 miles northeast of downtown Louisville. Webster University is a private, nonprofit university that locally offers graduate degree programs in business, communications, health administration, human resources, and information technologies.
Webster University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, one of the six nationally recognized regional accrediting agencies. In addition, Webster is licensed by the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
