“The Photographic Imaging Education Association (PIEA) 2006 Winners Exhibition”
Now through August 2, 2008

This PIEA Student-Teacher Photo Contest includes work from seven countries. The Louisville show is the last stop of a two-year tour of the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Participants range from elementary school students through college faculty. Traditional and digitally altered techniques are represented. 60+ images. Now through August 2, 2008. Hours M-TH 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Fri & Sat. 9 a.m. to noon. Open to the public.

About the Center
Webster University Visual Arts Center exists within Webster University, which offers masters degrees in business, communications, and counseling. Our audience consists primarily of adult professionals in those fields. The Visual Arts Center was established to foster creativity and innovation in students, visitors, and exhibitors. 

Call for Entries


WUVAC is seeking bodies of work from the Kentuckiana region for exhibitions in the upcoming year.


WUVAC invites submissions from individual visual artists, groups, and independent curators working in all media to submit proposals for exhibitions. Show proposals should include a brief description of the proposed exhibition, 10-20 images or media files (jpegs, CD ROM or online digital portfolio) with a list of titles, dimensions and media.


We have a special interest in work that relates to technology, science, research, or industry. This includes not only traditional visual art, but also design, visually expressed data, and collections, etc.
