Global Journalism

As an increasingly global society develops, journalists become important communications professionals that transcend local borders.

Global Journalism majors are students who are interested in national and international media communications. In the Global Journalism degree program at Webster University, undergraduates learn about the philosophies and economic structure of media in both developed and underdeveloped countries while developing their own reporting, writing and design skills. They also have the opportunity to write for a pair of award-winning publications: The Journal, the weekly campus newspaper, and The Ampersand, a biannual magazine/yearbook.
