Video Production

For students interested in telling stories through the use of motion pictures, the Video Production program gives them the opportunity to become media professionals who are capable of communicating through the aesthetics of videography.

The Video Production program is a comprehensive course of study, balancing solid grounding in theory with extensive hands-on experience. Students may choose to earn a minor or major in Video Production at Webster. The School of Communications offers a full studio for use in production classes where undergraduate students learn how to produce video segments and work as a media professional with studio equipment.

Webster students have the creative freedom to explore the areas of documentary, narrative, corporate and experimental video in their academic work and often use their work as a professional portfolio pieces for future employment.
