Is the MCISA open to anyone?
YES! The MCISA is here to assist every Webster student regardless of race, gender, age, religion, ability, or sexual orientation. We promote a diverse campus and encourage all to utilize the lounge, services, programs, and events that the MCISA offers.
How can I get involved with the MCISA?
There are so many ways you can be involved with the MCISA!
- Hang out in the lounge! You can meet many fun and diverse people by stopping by and hanging out. Also, engaging conversations happen on a daily basis while hanging out in the lounge, from serious diversity discussions to the latest celebrity gossip. So stop by, sit down, and introduce yourself!
- Attend events - the MCISA provides many events and programs, the more events you attend the more people you will meet!
- Volunteer – the MCISA is always looking for help with events. Just stop by the office or shoot us an email and let us know you are interested.
- Join the MCISA Ambassadors –
- Apply to work in the MCISA – we are always accepting applications and typically hire between 1-3 students a year.
What if I am experiencing discrimination on campus?
We encourage any student who is experiencing discrimination to come speak to one of the MCISA’s professional staff members. Our staff members will discuss the incident with you and work to find the best resource or action in addressing the issue.
What if I have a suggestion or idea for a future event or program?
