COVID-19 Update - Airport Pickups on Hold

Airport pickup services are temporarily on hold until the COVID-19 crisis passes. Please visit for University updates.

Schedule your airport pickup request by completing our online form. We will need your itinerary to confirm your pickup.

  • Contact us if you miss a connecting flight
  • Travel with your new housing address
  • Meet the MCISA staff member at the baggage claim area. Wait at least 30 minutes after you pick up your bag to give us a chance to find you.
  • Please note: students traveling with children must provide an appropriate car seat in order to transport children in the University vehicle.

HOUSING - EARLY MOVE IN - Upon receipt of your housing assignment, late June – early July, please review it for information related to the process and request form for an early move-in. It is important to submit this form by its due date to ensure that your campus space is ready ahead of your arrival. Questions? Please contact the Housing & Residential Life Office at or check out the Moving In & Out section of their website.

Transportation On Your Own

While we make every effort to greet all students personally, you may need to arrange transportation on your own if you miss a connection or the University is unable to provide transportation. If you are making your way to campus on your own, you can find transportation from the airport on the lower level of the Main Terminal.

Lambert International Airport's website lists a variety of transportation methods and their associated fees:

Taxi service is available on the lower level of the Main Terminal. Fares typically cost ~USD$40 from the airport to campus.

Ridesharing apps such as Lyft and Uber are also available if you have their apps installed on your wifi enabled mobile device. Lambert airport has one hour of free wifi available within the terminals.

Local Hotels

Some students choose to stay in a local hotel for a few days after arrival to settle in. Graduate students often like to tour around the area to personally look at apartments. If you need some advice on local hotels you can find more information on our Local Resource Guide page.
