Defense Acquisition University Level II Life Cycle Logistics

Webster University's transfer credit degree program with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level II Life Cycle Logistics courses provides pre-approved graduate transfer credit for DoD personnel with Level II Life Cycle Logistics certification to transfer up to 12 credit hours of graduate transfer credits. The credit can be applied to Masters programs in the Walker School of Business & Technology and select programs in the College of Arts and Sciences including the MS in Criminal Justice, MS in Environmental Management, MA in Gerontology, MA in Human Services, MA in International Relations, MA in Legal Studies, MA in National Security Studies, and the MS in Science Management and Leadership. Transfer work can be used as either core courses or elective courses, depending on program requirements. Some programs may accept fewer credits based on specific degree requirements.

Per the Graduate Catalog, transfer credit cannot be applied toward certificate programs.


Eligibility Requirements

  1. Level II Certification completed on or after July 1, 2016 in Life Cycle Logistics using DAU and/or DAU-equivalent courses as outlined below.
  2. Application and admission to one of the Webster University graduate programs listed above following prescribed admission procedures.
  3. All transfer credit is subject to Webster University’s Graduate Catalog policy on Transfer of Credit.

Documentation

  1. Submission of an official transcript showing completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited academic institution.
  2. Submission of an official DAU transcript.
  3. Submission of a copy of the certificate showing Level II certification in Life Cycle Logistics on or after July 1, 2016.

Transfer Credit Awarded

Pre-approved Course Substitutions: The following courses from the DAU Life Cycle Logistics certification program are pre-approved course substitutions/transfer credit to degree programs listed previously. Identified transfer courses can be used as either core courses or open electives, depending on program requirements. Some programs may accept fewer credits based on core course requirements and open elective requirements.

PROC 5860 - Government Contracting, 3 credits

ITM 5300 - Procurement and Contract Management for Information Technology, 3 credits
