Joint Special Operations University

Webster University's transfer credit degree program with the Joint Special Operations University College of Special Operations (SOS) course provides pre-approved graduate transfer credit for the below SOS courses to transfer up to 12 credit hours of graduate transfer credits. The credit can be applied to Masters programs in the Walker School of Business & Technology and select programs in the College of Arts and Sciences including the MS in Criminal Justice, MS in Environmental Management, MA in Gerontology, MA in Human Services, MA in International Relations, MA in Legal Studies, MA in National Security Studies, and the MS in Science Management and Leadership. Transfer work can be used as either core courses or elective courses, depending on program requirements. Some programs may accept fewer credits based on specific degree requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Completion of the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) College of Special Operations (SOS) specific courses listed below.
  2. Application and admission to one of the Webster University graduate programs listed above following prescribed admission procedures.

Documentation

  1. Submission of an official JST (Joint Services Transcript) showing completion of the specific JSOU SOS courses listed below.
  2. Submission of an official transcript showing completion of a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited academic institution.

Transfer Credit Awarded

 Pre-approved Course Substitutions: The following courses from SOS are pre-approved course substitutions for specific Webster courses. Webster courses do not substitute to the SOS program.
